Chronology of the Japan Star Wars Library (1998–Present).
Originally launched in 1998 as a personal checklist after accidentally purchasing three duplicates of the same item, starting as a secondary page of a Yakushima conservation site. It went independent around 2000 by migrating to the Freett hosting service and establishing a Teacup forum. Amidst the vibrant era of legendary Japanese fan hubs like "Slave-I" and later "Japan Rebelscum," followed by various server migrations (WebCrow, Star Server), this visual archive continues its long-running journey.

Evolution of the Collection's Focus
Up until Star Wars Celebration Japan in 2008, the library archived over 2,500 items, focusing primarily on books, magazines, and theater flyers. Following the event, 500 foreign-release items were intentionally removed to pivot exclusively toward Japan-focused collectibles. Since then, the workflow shifted to categorize and register regional ticket stubs, localized theater giveaways, corporate tie-in merchandise, and vintage bootlegs (Pachimon). The processing and digital indexing of these Japan-exclusive materials, alongside active collecting, continues to this day.
